I can't believe no one has mentioned STAR TREK. I have all of those (only need to watch 75 more episodes!).

I also have the Johnny Carson collection. It's great but needs more volumes!

I bought the Petticoat Junction first season but it hasn't aged as well as Green Acres.

I've placed a moratorium on my DVD purchases ... but before that happened:

That episode is called "Double Exposure" and is in the Season 3 box. (The projectors are DP-70's and the theatre is the old Preview House on Sunset Blvd.)

Yeah, in settings you have to switch from Warp Speed 5.5 to Whoop Speed 6.2 ...

Jeremy, what about DEEP SPACE NINE? TNG has some good episodes here and there, but I just finished watching VOYAGER a couple of weeks ago, and that show is crap. Except for seasons 4 and 5, which are inexplicably good. But DEEP SPACE NINE is quite possibly the best TV show ever. How come that show always gets neglected? Where's the love?

Over the past couple of years I've been watching DS9 (I just finished watching disc 1 of season 7), but via rental, not by purchasing. It's not lack of love, just lack of $$$ at this point.

I agree that it is quite likely the best developed and well-made series in the Star Trek canon ... regardless, TNG is still my favorite. [thumbsup]

. I started collecting my favorite show, Married with Children, but gave up after season 4 which had a few syndicated episodes on the disc. I would probably have collected Macgyver as well, but they're such poor transfers. Eventually I'll pick up Starsky and Hutch if I find them in the bargain bin, but like several others, I dont really buy DVDs anymore like I used to, and stick to Netflix.
