I thought the comic book for Buckaroo Banzai was made as a promotional tie-in for the movie. Pretty weird but entertaining "cult" movie.

You forgot Mystery Men for the worst catagory. [puke]

The comic book by Bob Burden (Flaming Carrot) is one of the funniest books out there, and yet the movie only used the title. The characters were thrown out and replaced by ...no, I don't want to offend retards by comparing them to this movie.

For European markets, they released those Spiderman TV movies starring Nicholas Hammond in theatres:

THE AMAZING SPIDER MAN (1977)
SPIDER MAN STRIKES BACK (1978)
SPIDER MAN: THE DRAGON'S CHALLENGE (1979)

But I guess that's not fair because they only had a TV budget.

All-time worst comic book movie to me:

MODESTY BLAISE (1966)

but I didn't see
MODESTY BLAISE (1982, TV) or
MY NAME IS MODESTY: A MODESTY BLAISE ADVENTURE (2003)
although they seem to rate high as turkeys.

10. "The Rocketeer" (1991)
Fair at best.

9. "Spy Kids" (2001)
Fucking awful!

8. "Hellboy" (2004)
Fortunately I had to miss this one.

7. "Inframan" (1976)
Primitive Power Rangers crap. (Not that the Power Ranger movie was anything better than awful.)

6. "Darkman" (1990)
Had to miss this one. It looked stupid though.

5. "Superman II" (1980)
Since the first one sucked (yes Michael...SUCKED), I am happy I had to miss this one.

4. "The Incredibles" (2004)
AWESOME!

3. "Spider-Man" (2002)
Decent, nothing great.

2. "Batman Returns" (1992)
Snoozefest.

1. "X-Men" (2000)
Good only because of Wolverine, otherwise just ok.

Worst Superhero Films:
5. "Hulk" (2003)
Thank god I had to miss this one.

4. "Fantastic Four" (2005)
Surprisingly good for what I was expecting, but nothing great.

3. "Catwoman" (2004)
Kill me now!

2. "Daredevil" (2003)
Lame.

1. "Batman & Robin" (1997)
I am always surprised how many people had problems with the batnipples, but whatever, this looked like a turd.
