I originally purchased BATMAN, THE DARK KNIGHT on DVD the day it was released and wanted to double dip and buy the Blu Ray version when I got my player and a HDTV but the $29.95 price tag prevented me from doing that. I almost came close to paying that amount for it but my better sense prevailed and I bought something else. I finally bought it when the price dropped down to $19.95 at Walmart but wanted to kick myself when I saw it at Costco last night for $12.95. I saw all of the Harry Potter movies at the same price. My Costco store now has a special display of Warner Brothers BD titles and there are a lot of movies that has been priced less than $10.00 in addition to the slightly higher priced titles. Even Costco got on the $19.95 bandwagon for new releases. The nice thing I like about Costco about their pricing is there is no time limit. (By the way, I do remember that DiscoVision was an MCA trademark, not a Pioneer...thanks for straightening me out on that. I paid $19.88 for my copy at Sam's Club in Feb. of 2008 (I had the receipt in the case). $7.99 is a great deal. I'm waiting on Amazon to deliver low priced copies of Blazing Saddles, The Good The Bad & The Ugly and Monsters versus Aliens. The Star Trek: Khan loves Corinthian Leather movie now costs over $20 at Amazon. Nice 300% jump from the Black Friday deals.
