No major technical reason why it couldn't be, even if it may not meet all HDMI 1.4 requirements, but may update the 1.3 ouput to make it compatible enough for the purpose.  |  IP: Logged Claude S. Last time they wanted to get people out of their homes and back to the theaters they innovated - and it worked. This time instead of figuring out how to bring people out of the homes and away from their HDTVs, they have: 1. Installed HDTVs in the theaters (making the potential presentation there worse) 2. Released Blu-Ray at home (making the potential presentation there better) 3. Started showing 3D movies on those HDTVs in the theaters. ...and now they are about to... 4. Bring 3D to the Blu-Ray so the consumer can show it on his HDTV at home.
