Playing Dunkirk in 15/70 and Beauty And The Beast on the new IMAX laser projection system. As it was my first trip to the Cinesphere, I cannot tell you whether the screen is smaller. It didn’t seem vastly larger than the screens at Universal City or Rochester, and it was silver. It certainly didn’t seem as massive as the screen on which I watched Dunkirk at a science museum in Baltimore, but was far brighter and sharper. They have a GT 3D setup and a 4K Laser setup. Whoever ran the GT last night did a great job of keeping the image free of dirt and whatnot. It was an AWESOME 15/70 print. The best DMR show I’ve ever seen. The sound system is KILLER. Super loud in the best kind of way with great dynamic range playback capabilities.
