The house was absolutely packed. Sold out in advance. Still managed to get seats right in the sweet spot in the middle of the auditorium. The print was phenomenal and the sound was earth-shattering in the best way possible. Some minor dirt, but no scratches or any lingering dirt that couldn't be wiped away. Lauderdale Autonation IMAX is going to be showing ALL Avengers universe films in chronological order in IMAX with Laser (the way they market it always makes me think of Austin Powers). The sound of course was fantastic, although I do recall when this was shown at the former Rave 18 Cinemas IMAX (true IMAX) on the other side of town, it had an even more powerful sound system. Universal didn't quite hit the extremely low frequencies like Rave did. It had a larger screen too. It's a shame Rave IMAX has been gone several years now and replaced by a Cinemark XD screen.  |  IP: Logged
