Perhaps they developed "Dolby core syndrome" and no one returned the cores . About all one can do at this point in time is buy used 3000's to scrap out for the parts. With no promised 3000 series sprockets delivered yet and on order since last November and no FRB D/A boards its becomming obvious that even Sony wishes SDDS would just go away.
