Posts: 12814 From: Annapolis, MD Registered: Dec 1999 posted 07-16-2010 08:31 PM                     You don't loose content...I'm not too sure about the shows...also, on the media block upgrade, don't tick the little box in the lower right corner to "reinstall all components" unless you really want to reset EVERYTHING. That is the equivalent to "reset to factory defaults." Since all of my 4.2.0s were on new installs...except maybe some test shows...there were no shows in them...honestly, I don't recall my test shows being wiped...but I could be mistaken. However I've yet to do a 4.1.x to 4.2.x. A colleague has without any lost shows, content or KDM's though. Was a DSS/DSP100 combo. KDM's yes, but only when going from 3.x to 4.x.
