Love film, the ability to hot swap out parts from spare into a broken projector and have the show back up after 5-10 minutes is amazing. HOWEVER, I've never had an issue with digital yet. I honestly will miss film, but i'm beginning to believe that digital is coming no matter what, these companies have the financing and motivation now, and its already beginning with most major chains having plans to be all digital within the next 5 years. I just hope that we can learn from early mistakes. Barco makes a great projector, the new sony is a definite improvement as well. I haven't gotten to play around with a christie, but I did see a Barco what i'm assuming was a DP2K-23B fitted with a reald XL system, and MAN was it a bright beautiful picture, the brightest i've seen in either film or digital. Amazing light levels, I almost wanted to measure them... almost
