can someone jog my memory, I could have sworn I saw a 35mm print a number of years back at the Uptown Theater here in DC and it had the alternate expanded title: 'Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark'. Yet according to some folks on another website I frequent they claim Paramount never created/inserted the new title card ("ever") - it's possible I'm having a senior moment, but I'd like someone to chime in and second what I think I saw - anyone, anyone??

Didn't they do that for the video release?

I don't think it has ever been changed onscreen. (it isn't changed in the DVD). I think it was only changed on the packaging/ posters, etc.

I seem to remember that the "Indiana Jones and the" prefix on Raiders was only for video, so that people would find it when searching for "Indiana Jones" and probably to make the packaging seem more consistent.

We don't get a lot of revivals here in Milwaukee, so I can't vouch for any re-release naming schemes.

Oh, and as far as seeing it IMAX, I think I'd rather enjoy it on Blu-ray in my own setup. The shine of IMAX is growing duller and duller, so it's not much of a draw for me.
