You should use a dB meter to make sure your levels are ok. But still, many theater will find it useful. It seems the doremi gets the attenuation perfectly, and the amplification not that well. I have used it in several sites. I have experimented with a CP500 and did not succeed to calculate the last byte (checksum) correctly using modulo 255 sum (maybe I'm doing it wrong). However, if I truncate the sum of the first 5 bytes to 8 bits and invert those 8 bits, I get the same number as the CP500 reports.  |  IP: Logged
