That's a goofy week for us: Monday is our marathon in two houses (one house using HFR-3D), Tues is the pre-opening screenings that evening with the Wednesday for regular opening.

Got an e-mail from the film company about the Hobbit movies. There is a paragraph in it asking us to "clear our servers" before ingesting the content. Uh, no....

Probably has to do with the size of the files...three 3-hour HFR 3D movies (double size of normal 3D movies). Given some of the IMSes out there, space would be quite limited. I double any of the 3TB+ servers will have any issue holding it and other stuff.

Well there we go. The release of THE HOBBIT is now cancelled because Terry don't think it will be worth it.
