Posts: 12814 From: Annapolis, MD Registered: Dec 1999 posted 01-20-2014 10:54 AM                     Joe...it isn't going to be 20%...it is going to be 100% of theatres and enough headsets for 4% of seating capacity. I don't know of any/many Hollywood features that don't have HI/VI-N tracks now. Previews are another story. As for a person capable of issuing the equipment properly configured...that is the theatre's problem. You would think they would add HI first and foremost, because it is the easier of the two to do, but they don't. It is getting better. As for the 100%, I didn't know the bill last year actually passed. There was a lot of press coverage last fall, but I don't find a single blurb about the outcome.  |  IP: Logged
