Author Topic: Satellite Hardware Mismatch error on NEC NC2000C Dave Macaulay Film God Posts: 2321 From: Toronto, Canada Registered: Apr 2001 posted 02-15-2014 09:54 AM                     I have removed the PNG files from cloning a few times, but usually have time to wait so the backup is complete... lately I haven't had many ICP corruptions on upgrade but I do like to have a complete backup just in case. I delete all the useless patterns on installation. Removing the logos, 4K stuff on 2K units, convergence files for other models, and the dual stack patterns saves 5-10 minutes saving a full clone (and storage space).  |  IP: Logged Steve Guttag We forgot the crackers Gromit!!! Having a bunch of patterns that will NEVER be used wasting time on clones is just that, a waste of time. Since those patterns are available on the "base clone" anyway...it isn't like if some unforeseen upgrade to a projector happens down the road that they couldn't be recovered (or if one did an ICP swap to track down a problem).  |  IP: Logged
