Christie does the installs themselves. And I can definitely say there are potential for install issues. First one is that the guy who does the site survey is different from the guy who orders the equipment which is different from the guy(s) who do the install. It was pretty clear that site survey guy knew a TON, ordering guy knew nothing, and installers were sent in with zero information about the install prior to arriving on site. I actually helped do a lot of the install work with them (mainly because it was hugely interesting to me) as they were quickly behind schedule because some of the additional equipment we ended up ordering was wrong, as well as a lot of missing cables that they had to have overnight-ed. But by the end of the week, all of the system was set up and properly configured. I did get only the briefest tutorial (10 minutes) on how to operate everything as the tech had to leave by a particular time. They would have sent somebody back the next week to do proper training, but I'm pretty technically proficient and pretty well understood all the important things an owner/operator would need to know as well as a few more advanced things.  |  IP: Logged Mark Gulbrandsen Resident Trollmaster Posts: 16657 From: Music City Registered: Jun 99 posted 03-13-2014 01:25 PM                     Yes, I can believe they do the installs. My customer said they knew everything about the projector and absolutely nothing about the audio end of things.
