If you're sitting on a bunch of 1000 used xenon lamps, you're either saving them since day and age or you're the central warehouse for a local chain I suppose?
I have no clue for your area, but here I would just call the manufacturers and ask them if they could arrange a return. You've bought hundreds of their lamps, looks like they could do a little favor in return?
I've no clue how recycling in India works. At least here, manufacturers are supposed to provide easy means of recycling, in many cases by law.
I'm also by no means a recycling expert and if you're talking about 1000 of those lamps, well, that's really quite a number. But this is what I would do, if the the manufacturers won't help: Order a big metal trash container from your local trash handling company and carefully smash them one by one, inside the box and plastic clam shells, just like you would do when smashing a single lamp. Make sure every single one of them is properly smashed, as you don't want to have one of those explode while being handled later on. Maybe it's also best if everybody involved at least wears protective glasses and some gloves during the process. Otherwise, it's really going to be a field day .
