When recharged and not in use, so stored on shelf, how long can ne stored ubtill battery dies?

6 months unless it is charged up again during that time. Depending on the condition of the battery + or minus a bit.

We have a charger probably from TI - a wall wart with something similar to a string of christmas lights of connectors. You can charge several (sorry no count) enigma or gore boards, we just leave our stock plugged in but if you have a lot then you would charge each for a couple of days and then mark an expiry and do another batch. Have to remember to recharge though... why we just leave them plugged in.

The scary thing about charging the Engima (and I'm sure the GORE boards too) is that the charging ports don't light anything up. You have no idea if you are really charging anything. Is the wall-wart working? Did someone turn the power strip off?

USL has a charger for Enigmas that connects to the HDSDI board and powers that which powers the enigma with all of its status LEDs going.
