Well they had to do it on a movie with a virtually guaranteed blockbuster opening so they can rave about how successful it is.

Hope that theater has a good supply of barf bags.

That's no different than when Warner did the HFR thing on Hobbit by restricting it to a very few high volume theaters so they can mathematically say "look how much more money the HFR locations made vs. the non-HFR locations". It's all bullshit.
