Honestly, not asking for myself, a friend received one at no cost, and it looks as if either CPU or mainboard is toast. I have replaced several. Wondering why Dolby ever bothered to use dual socket mainboards throughout their line, but never used a second CPU? The DCinema world was definitely the wild-west when it came out and most/all server manufactures had to adapt their products and things became more defined. Is it possible that at sone time they mixed the hardware bases for DSS and DSL? They did change the motherboard on the DSS 200. The ones I have worked on were late in the DSS 100 run. Though when I asked Dolby tech support some years back as to what the motherboard used in the DSS 100 they only mentioned the one.
