I agree with you Sam.
It's just that sometimes you'll end up in one of those rooms where a little boost of something is needed which will be eating up your power.

Also, say you need to boost some frequencies: you can cut all the others but in the end you'll then need to turn up the whole channel and the outcome is the same.
