It did steady business early in the afternoon.  |  IP: Logged Pietro Clarici Expert Film Handler Posts: 136 From: Foligno (PG) Italy Registered: Sep 2008 posted 12-13-2017 01:04 PM                        Here in Italy Disney seems to sticking to their original decision: Coco will be released on Dec 28 with Olaf, mainly because they are afraid that the Pixar movie by itself won't be attractive enough to younger audiences. They think they'll "trick" them by exploiting the Frozen franchise. I asked, they said this isn't going to change even if they get audience complaints. We'll see how it pans out. What I personally don't get is why they decided to miss Christmas: it's almost like they didn't want to clash with Ferdinand (Fox, Dec 21) right before the buyout.  |  IP: Logged Mike Blakesley Film God Posts: 12767 From: Forsyth, Montana Registered: Jun 99 posted 12-13-2017 07:09 PM                        Have there actually been any "complaints?" Or is it just confusion? I think the word-of-mouth on Coco was so good that the Frozen thing was pretty unnecessary.
