They essentially don't even do much to hide stuff like trusses the screen is mounted on... Also, there is a new trend: The floating screen. Usually, the screen floats in front of a black or every dark background though. I think a floating screen is still better than a totally unmasked screen. Also as all movies have the same aspect ratio, so do i really need a screen masking system.
