It is normal for the IRC to time out at the end of the upload. The process goes like this: 1. Hex file uploaded, parsed line by line, written as binary image to external flash. 2. On receiving end of file record, application jumps to "CopyExtFlashToInternal()" in the boot section of internal flash. This causes the TCP connection to drop since the TCP code is no longer running. 3. CopyExtFlashToInternal() erases the application internal flash. 4. CopyExtFlashToInternal() copies the binary image in external flash to the application area of internal flash. 5. System is reset. Reset start execution in the boot flash where it checks the state of the restore button. If the restore button is not depressed, the application in internal application flash is executed. So, at the end of the upload, I expect the browser to time out. If you then hit the back button (to get away from the upload page), then hit reload, you SHOULD see the new version running. I generally use the Chrome browser. It nicely shows the percentage uploaded at the bottom of the screen. If you continue to have issues, we could try a Team Viewer session so I can see what's going on. Harold  |  IP: Logged
