Since all of the big houses must have gotten their laser upgrade by now, I guess IMAX has declared their film-business to be quasi-dead now, with the sole exception maybe for the next Nolan release, but I doubt it will be IMAX themselves footing the bill. quote: Allan Young The sound is top notch. Like Daniel indicated, there are a handful of other locations that combine Atmos and a balcony. Another, more recent example are the Regal/Warren Grand Infinity Auditoriums. Those rooms are also pretty big, in pure volume probably comparable to "Odeon #1". Screen #1 at the former Empire West End also had their room upgraded with Atmos. I guess that was about the biggest Atmos install in the world. And I went in very skeptical of how it was going to look. So with that said, I'm okay if a film print is not released as long as the full IMAX footage is presented.
