Reels are printed forward then backward by the high speed printer, so half the reels are "tails up" when they come off the printer. It was entertaining and some of the effects were very cool. It wasn't great, it wasn't horrible. I've never seen a movie drop to oblivion so fast. We had 6 people last night and 3 of them left half-way through - one guy said it was silly, and two teenagers probably went to smoke weed or something. Another week to go. OK, but uneven and as stated above forgettable. Only nits to pick with the presentation were a soft left edge and more on-screen dirt than I want to see - the field flattener auto timer looked like it had been turned off. The dirt just stayed there. Two thumbs _way_ down to Loews/AMC Boston Common for an extra-crappy presentation. Dirty print (complete with trailers for Pirates and Shrek still on it), flickering lamp, and about a dozen digital faults to very misaligned optical sound during the first reel. Two thumbs _way_ down to Deluxe; the print that I saw had a _ton_ of negative dirt on all reels.  |  IP: Logged
