It would have been nice to see them somehow utilize Kelsey Grammer and maybe even some archive audio of Phil Hartman. They both contributed to many great moments on the show.

Saw this tonight, Carmike Wynnsong 10 in Billings MOntana. (We were on our way home from a weekend in the mountains after the Rocky Mountain Convention.)

Digital presentation was flawless except the picture was framed a little too low -- not noticeable during the feature itself but the "A NEWS COPORATION COMPANY" in the Fox logo was half cut off.

I am not a Simpsons fan - have never seen the TV show - but I've learned enough about them through Pop Culture Osmosis over the years that I really enjoyed the movie. My wife likes the Simpsons show and enjoyed it even more than I did. She agreed with others above that it plays like a long TV episode.

I laughed out loud quite a few times, and thought the whole Homer's-diddle section was hilarious. A solid 4 out of 5 stars for me.

They ought to turn that whole "Thou shalt turn off thy cellphone" into a trailer.

4 out of 5 stars. Really good picture, sound nicely produced, and its still filling seats. I love spider pig, however little things like homer saying 'D'oh.........me' (dome) really fell flat with me. I think they could easily do another one.... although i worry that it lost a little bit of the simpson charm in its conversion to the big screen....

Both my wife and I thought this was pretty bad. It was nowhere near the level of the best days of the show. It was boring. Sure there were a few funny moments but everything in between was kinda boring.

And what the hell were they thinking (yes I know they were poking fun at themselves) at the beginning telling the audience they are suckers for paying to see something they can see on TV?
