Great film. I brought my kids to see this and I have to say that seeing even a cartoon character with pasties on was quite a shock. Pretty good movie. It's obviously geared more for young girls, but it's still a very interesting movie in terms of the visuals. The movie was more creepy than I was expecting, which is a good thing. The 3D looked very good. I'm not certain, but it looks like this movie may have had more than a little "digital" CGI assistance. Saw it for a 2nd time last week in digital 3-D. The 3-D effects were so amazing and I'm so glad I got to see such a beautiful, fun film like that. However, I think that the 2-D 35mm did the coloring of this film a lot more justice than the digital 3-D did. And Coraline is a VERY colorful film..... Caught a few minutes of this at Regal's mothership at the Pinnacle 18, best 3D presentation I've seen so far. I watched Bolt and Beowulf at 2 other Regals who must've had light output issues because Coraline looked as bright as a 35mm in a small house.  |  IP: Logged
