This wasn't funny enough for me. I think Will Smith should have had John Cusack's role. The disaster scenes and overall plot were reasonable enough, but some of the CGI looked shoddy and it kinda dragged on in places. Couldn't find anything to suggest why this film has held reasonably well for three weeks now.

The free ticket I was expecting in the mail to see this movie in a theatre never arrived in time so I have been anxiously awaiting the Blu Ray disc. It will be released on Tuesday and I will blind buy it, It will be available on a one and three disc set. The single disc set is the movie only but the three disc set has a lot of bonus features in HD on the first two discs and the 3rd disc is a DVD with digital copy code to download the movie on a iPod or a computer.

If Robert Harris at another forum , and many others here said the movie was a lot of fun, I know I will enjoy the movie.
