I watched this yesterday and to me the last part deals more than anything with our mounting national debt, and Obama's supposedly wanting to shrink our nuclear arsenal while other countries are supposedly not shrinking theirs.

I know we shouldn't go into it here but that's the part I want to check out. The debt part is true, obviously, but I admit ignorance on the nuclear-arsenal part.

The bit about "100% taxation" is clearly just a dumb scare tactic. No president could ever get away with something like that...the whole population would just pack up and move to Canada or somewhere.

Bottom line, I feel about this movie the way I feel about almost all political things: It's never as bad as they say it's going to be, and it's never as good as they say it's going to be either.

That is really scary.

Mike's final paragraph (above) says it all.
