Moving the booth to an under balcony location was fairly common when wide screen came along.

Balcony booth silver screens yield terrible light readings downstairs as the light tends to be set for the balcony while most people sit on the main floor and the balcony is often closed to the public during non peak times.

My wife and I just watched Roma on Netflix.

I felt the story was very underwhelming. Generally speaking I'm not a fan of movies where you're more like a voyeur watching people's lives for a period of time rather than having a narrative.

As others have mentioned, the cinematography really was the star of the show. There were a number of interesting tracking shots. And I really appreciated how they built suspense for what was just off screen.

As I mentioned in another thread I have developed a concept for combining 70mm and Atmos that does not involve running a DCP alongside the film print. So if anyone wants to be the first to do 70mm Atmos just give us a call!
