Pacer crap- To make a Pacer keyboard stop working, decorate your box office with silver Christmas garlands made of aluminized mylar. Little strands will shed and short out the keyboard. The power supply in the keyboard _will_ smoke, which has got to be why the Pacer rep never caught on to your cigarette. To make the concession terminals go flooey, twist the customer display through a 360 degree turn. It'll snap the ribbon cable to the display. OR- use a plain phone cord to connect it to the node. It'll blow a fuse every time. To make a concession node stop working, don't bother doing anything. Roaches love the heat and colonize the things. I learned to NEVER bring a node home to service until I had removed the cover and vacuumed the thing out. To make an MOS stop working (or work)leave it unplugged for a week or more. If it was working before this, it won't work after. If it didn't work before, it might work when you restart it. Did I mention Pacer stuff was flakey? Some people swear by Pacer equipment. I tend to be more direct and swear at it.
