When I moved from Miami here to Las Vegas I had to have my two vehicles transported across the country.

Everything seemed O.K. until the guy was unloading the cars at my new place. He accidently disengaged an assembly which came crashing down on another vehicle (someone else's car)and smashed the front end and windshield of it. I stood there flabbergasted, he simply shrugged his shoulders and said "that's what they have insurance for". He then proceeded to unload my vehicles........

But what do you mean by the "Good guys?"
Are there any? If so, how do you find them?

A good place to get a start is Hemmings Auto News, available in the magazine rack at most larger bookstores. The ads for the best ones have testimonials from satisfied, real customers, but those may be hard to discern for folks not integrated into the funky old car world. Hemmings has bounced a few of the bad ones from their advertising section, but unfortunately, a couple have changed their names several times & bought new ads. A more comfortable alternative would be to call or e-mail a large local antique auto club & ask for recommendations.

Contact information for theatre circuit management is listed in the Film Journal Exhibition Guide:

http://www.filmjournal.com/applications/guides/alpha.cfm?PageID=11111170

To report CHRONIC issues of presentation quality, you usually would contact the VP of Projection, VP of Engineering, or VP of Operations of a theatre circuit. Many theatre circuits have comment cards or on-line/telephone "hotlines" --- use them, but be sure you are clearly reporting the problem, with details about theatre, picture, and showtime, so it goes to the correct person. If a release is being administered by THX, Dolby, Kodak ScreenCheck, or Ledjer, you can report problems through them:

Getting this back on topic ...

When AMC redesigned its website this fall the "comment card" section was removed. AMC now prefers that customers use snail mail or call toll-free.

For problems that have cropped up at an AMC I've had good luck addressing the problem via a postcard to the theater. One time the AMC Hamilton had up 10 posters for movies that were no longer playing. Another time the Swift Ticket kiosk was out of order (one machine had a jammed card slot, another machine took forever to work). Both times I sent a postcard. Both times the matter was solved by my next visit.
