Hostess -- Has to go back and forth to the kitchen. (this is a no-brainer, honestly!) Grocery Cashier -- Has to scan/ring up items, belt is waist-high. Bank teller -- They sit in my bank too. Easier to work the computer. Department store -- Same as grocery store. Lose five points. So your examples are invalid. The only box office I have seen where you *MUST* stand is at a Regal, since they love to build their box office and service desk up high. It's funny to see a short person stretching to reach out the ticket hole. I think everyone has the same idea, but we're arguing different points: It matters on the design of the box office. Therefore, the fact that you're being professional or not by standing depends on that design, and should not be yet another stupid blanket policy by a chain for ALL employees (regardless of height) at ALL locations in ALL states. Top it off with a stapler on top of the pens- on top of the counterfit pens--and viola! We like to use the ice scoops to throw ice cubes at targets that are in the lobby. 5pts. if you hit a poster case. 10 pts if you hit the rope stands. 20 pts. if you get it into one of the trash cans.
