Ian,

I don't think you're a dick for your post.. really, I don't. [Big Grin]

HOWEVER,

If someone, such as myself, has stuck it out in this business for 16 years and still has a good interest in what he/she does, I think it would be nice to be able to at least *compete* to go amongst your own fellow managers. Most wouldnt' give two shits anyway, as this is merely a paycheck to begin with, which is one reason our industry is in the overall shpae it's in currently. The rest, like myself, would use the opportunity to learn what else is out there, products, companies, etc... Contacts and knowledge, you just never know when they may help you out..

(It wasn't really curiosity that killed the cat.. it was lack of foresight as to what would happen next!)

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control, I will not be in attendance this year. That will be good news to some, and bad news to others. That's just the way the pickle squeezes.

Those who go...have a great time. Attendance is well worth the hassle if you can attend. You will find great people there. [Smile]

Sorry you can't make it this year and I just got talked into going by Brian Whitish. Was hoping to have a good turnout of us from the great PNW.

Nobody answered if it was a legit tax write off yet.

I hope to go someday in the not too distant future.

Perhaps we can all contribute to a "Rachel Fund" or something so she can come out there and get drunk with the rest of us...

Mark..

What a sexist comment. A Rachel fund... Is it, by chance, because she's a FEMALE? Methinks it is...

I didn't see anyone step up to the plate and offer to start or contribute to a 'Bring Jason to SW Fund'... Not even that old bastage COOT. [Roll Eyes]
