Cohen Jedi Master Film Handler Posts: 975 From: Forest Hills, NY, USA Registered: Sep 2001 posted 05-22-2004 06:13 PM                     The judges at the Cannes Film Festival have awarded the Palme d'Or to Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 911" The nine judges consisted of four Americans, one British, and one each from Belgium, Finland, Hong Kong and France. I have no personal interest in distribution, management or any other aspects of the business. It was quite funny because there was a frenchman that accepted an award a few before Michael's. He went on and on about how Cannes should go back to being a "film festival" instead of a business festival. Of course in the next breath he said that he hoped that Michael's film wins the Palm D'Or, and that people in America should not vote Bush.
