So I'm sitting in the office talking with the manager that opened that day, and I hear the ticket printer start printing ticket after ticket. I'm like, what the heck. So I go out there and the cashier has a string of tickets in her hand. I'm like, what is going on? She wanted to see how many the program would allow to be sold and HAD to hit the enter button but claims it started all by itself. So I had exactly 28 tickets to the 6:50 In Her Shoes. Naturally no one came for the rest of the night. And to make matters worse the voids didn't even show up on the film report so now fox is going to be like. Hey, we're $207 short. We won't even get into how badly I closed either! I had her convinced we were out and needed some to run the projector so I needed her to call the AMC down the street because all the Kerasotes were out of technicolor. She made it all the way to the phone to call when she asked our complex if we were really out. Complex told her no and laughed and told her it was just a joke. We also like to play a joke on our new hires. Their first night working we like to come up to them and tell them that the ushers need help cleaning theater #17. I was putting it up on the marquee and had gotten "Big Fat Greek" up when a customer stopped me and remarked that he was Greek and this offended him, and he'd be speaking to the manager.
