Paul Trimboli Master Film Handler Posts: 274 From: Perth Western Australia Registered: Dec 2002 posted 11-14-2005 04:56 AM                     I am not sure about the eastern states but here in Western Australia outdoor cinemas have come back in a very big way. Running through the summer months. This makes you wonder why drive-ins have not come back over here? We have one left, which had to downsize a few years ago and sell off some of the land. Mr Kilderry & Family seem to have succeeded so why couldn't others if they do their proper planning? Times, however, have changed here. Selby (screens) says they have built more new screens last 2 years than the previous 25 years. (UDITOA, a drive in owners convention is First week of Feb in Orlando area.)
