I find that difficult to do for one reason...most of my other employees DO their job, do it well, and don't complain. How can I enforce anything on them? On the other hand, we have employees that apparently come to work to talk to their friends and do as little as possible. With these people, I HAVE to enforce policy. They wonder why no one else gets told to do things...I explain that the other people are already doing their job, and I don't have to tell them anything. To the person getting told what to do, its seems that I am constantly after them, which is true, but its because they don't do their job in the first place, not because I want to be unfair or have favorites.
