They'll be disappointed if they're hoping for prominent display however, we have a no standees in the lobby policy. We have one of the smallest lobbies ever, but I can still usually get a standee to fit somewhere...or sometimes I'll just take a piece of one (like a main character or logo cutout) and just use that. We've always just trashed the expired standees. One kid really wanted to take home the 9-foot wide, 6-foot tall "Jurassic Park III" standee, so we loaded that one into his pickup. Someone came in to build standees for 'Evan Almighty' and a week later 'Happily 'N' Ever After'. It suits me, I don't mind building them myself, but if you want to send someone to build them for me I'm happy, after all i've got screens to clean and popcorn and drinks to sell to customers. quote: Thomas Pitt One that springs to mind is the standee for 'Vacancy' where it has lightbulbs behind the word VACANCY flashing on and off in a random order (so it looks like it's flickering). Managers are entrusted with all the money the place brings in; can't somebody be trusted to go around and pull a few plugs before locking up? Or timers are cheap and last forever. We just had our first one put together by outsiders. It was one of our checkers who got the call for Arctic Tale. This service would have been nice for the original X-Men standee. Fox sends installers out every 6 months or so to change out the banner.  |  IP: Logged
