Also depends on the popcorn/oil ratio which is 3 seed to 1 oil. Thus, if you got a PR32EDNG, Cretors 32oz President, you should be shooting in 11oz of oil for your 32 oz of seed, in a 550 degree kettle.
And also, if you use full canola oil or another kind called "Popwise", it's gonna taste pretty raunchy being more of a vegetable oil, than the heart attack creating, high cholestrol coconut oil - which really does make the popcorn taste abolutely great.
