We charge $12 dollars for an adult ticket and $15 for 3D.

We are the cheapest cinema in Sydney and one of the last truly independent cinemas.

I believe an adult ticket to Hoyts or Greater Union (or E\/ENT) will set you back at least $16.50 or for 3D $20.

Anybody here ever seen the movie theatre in Douglas, Wyoming? We had a lady from there tonight who thought our prices were too high compared to Douglas. I'm just curious (a) what the prices are there, and (b) how nice that theatre is.

Most NYC theaters are either $11.50 or $12.50 now. But I disagree with Bobby - they're not going to go up to $15 or $20 anytime soon. But the difference between NYC and most other places is that in most theaters, at least in Manhattan, all shows are priced the same. I can see a change where weekend and night shows are priced higher.

I've been seeing movies during weekdays and the theaters are pretty much empty, even during the 1st or 2nd week of a big movie.
