Not sure what your point is, Manny... though it appears on reflection I've given the impression I'm picking on Kurt. I'm not. It's just one of the relative hot-button issues we face at these places.

I would say that, on balance, owners probably take a harder line on this problem than managers, who either don't have a direct dog in the fight or haven't been given specific authority to go as far as we can. I think we tend to see the issue as a more direct problem, similar to shoplifting, even if the product is an intangible.

In any case, if you don't do something that encourages the person, and maybe his friends to think very hard before trying it again, I think you risk perpetuating a game which, if you're as busy taking care of legitimate customers as we are, you just don't have time to mess with.

Anyway... my appologies if I came off a little harsh on this one.
