I say: Let it fail.

Then let the backlash begin.

This is what happened when Hollywood underestimated the impact of Television, suburbia and the "teenage" revolution. They went down in flames and then...change occurred...

...and that's how we got JAWS...and blockbusters...

...and that's how we got greedy interest from the corporate sector...

...and THAT'S how we got HERE!

Maybe it's just time to reboot!

The problem is now that we live in this so called "global economy" the movies and TV shows we may end up seeing are whatever China and India can invent. America could screw itself out of its most high profile creative businesses.

Greedy corporate interest? Ha ha ... yeah ... back in the glory days, they didn't make movies for profit. It was all about the "art".
