Many years ago, we attempted to survey the stats about the auditoriums in movie theaters, and while we had some success, it's a labor intensive process to do so from observations.

Theater managers got real nervous when I asked for the information as well, but some were actually quite helpful (even if they didn't understand why anyone would care).

We are happy to add this information for any theater that is willing to provide it to us. In cases where the info is based on personal observations, we make a note so that people understand that measurements may be based off counting ceiling tiles, etc.

Marcus is now doing a trial of reserved seating in all screens at one location, so knowing the layout and size of the auditorium and the screen will actually be more important in those situations.
