Same here. Though encapsulated by Columbus, Grandview Heights, OH, still is small town-ish. Everybody pretty much knows, or recognizes, everyone else.
People often won't take the passes we offer in the case of even the most minor problem. If we have ANY projection issue that impacts the sound, picture, or auditorium, we offer comps on their way out of the auditorium.
Once, we even gave out "boisterous Russian" passes to make up for a group of Russians who we asked to leave KING'S SPEECH because they wouldn't be quiet. In fact, someone just redeemed one of those for PUSS IN BOOTS.
