If I had already had it booked then absolutely the show must go on and as leo pointed out he is being upfront about the format it is being shown in. My main issue is that I will not book a film if I know I cannot get it in 35mm or a DCP obviously if there are supply issues or the print comes in absolutely wrecked, in those cases (after a lot of internal cursing and probably a few phone calls), I would absolutely show a blu-ray if the choice was have a dark screen or show the blu-ray and explain to my customers exactly what happened.

My argument was more of I won't book a film that is only available on blu-ray.
