I hated finding out that after all those years of watching the film "Oklahoma!" flat, cinemascope, and twice in 70mm Todd-AO, I was watching something that was actually filmed in Arizona! What a let-down.

I-40 runs so close to my home here in western North Carolina, that I can hear the trucks as they gear down to avoid the speed trap as the highway goes onto the Biltmore Estate. But not with the windows closed!

A few years ago, I saw a nice travel film of Oklahoma and thought that it is a beautiful place. But, would I want to live there?

I think the scene where Rainman farts in the telephone booth with Tom Cruise was filmed in Oklahoma.
