Joe, you're crazy! Wear the thing for a day so you can sell it for $30,000. For an extra $5000 you can include one of those certificates of authenticity stating that you wore it.

Now how much is it worth?

Just from looking at that picture I think it would bring the value down about $15,000. The certificate would be fine WITHOUT the picture!

Sorry Joe

What if I hand deliver the hat? Surely people would pay an extra $10,000 just for that alone!

Joe, Please deliver the "Film-Tech" hat to Central Park, in New York City. Meet me at the Fountain in the center of the park, just off 72nd Street. Come alone. You will recognise me by the ski cap over my face and I'll be wearing sun glasses. Oh, yes we will meet at exactly midnight on Saturday.

Sean, I sent a copy of your post down to Texas Instruments, it wouldn't surprise me if it sparks some interest down there in Plano.

How about an "Odorama" t-shirt.

Anyone have a link to a "Smell-o-vision" logo?

I just had to bring this back up... such a great thread!

How about some:
-Cell phone faceplates
-Shirts that say "Kiss me... I'm a Film-Techer"
-Film tech: the towel
-Film tech: the mylar
-a film guard button for all theatre employees to wear

But seriously... a good idea (if it didn't cost so much $$$) would be a Film-Tech policy trailer... you could even incorporate some of Ian's theatre patron rules!!!
