They have been working on a vehicle that can swim, drive and fly. It is more like a small glider with a propeller that can fold its wings. But it is not intended for general use, rather as a sports vehicle. A neighbour has a car that can swim! I don`t know what make it is, I think it is from a small German or Swiss manufacturer that doesn`t exist anymore. The car is from the 1950s. There are two small propellers at the back. It was indeed German, but used a Triumph Herald (I think) motor. Do a Google search for Amphicar; there are many links to owner's clubs and collectors. Even though my day job is sign-designer-extraordinaire, don't ask me how anyone would make a sign of any type levatate. Besides, all that flying stuff would cost waaaaay too much money. Doing things cheap and half-assed will keep any such thing from becoming a reality anytime in the forseeable future. Hovering cars? As in perhaps a few feet off the ground? Korben Dallas gets an unexpected visitor when Leelo crashes her way through the roof of his vehicle. That picture also has one of the coolest names for a villain. Look at the way his name was revealed: Jean-Francois . . . Emmanuel . . . Zorg. BTW Warner Bros. includes a flying car in the latest newspaper ads for Harry Potter 2.
