That's what happens when I keep getting booted off of my own server due to high traffic. I locked everyone else out [evil]

and spent a couple of hours populating the new database, which is online now. [Smile]

If you still get that stupid redirect page now, you need to clear your disk cache and it will reload fine. At least with Internet Explorer, anyway.

Please let me know if I forgot to fix anything while I was in there.

Well, it's been a month since I moved the US portion of the site to the new database. What a relief that was! There was a 40% increase in visits with a 28% decrease in bandwidth and an 80% decrease in timeouts.

Last night I converted the rest of the site to the new database.

Please let me know if you come across something that's not quite right, like a page that says New South Wales is in Canada.

I also fixed a bug that affected the proper grouping of neighborhoods in Los Angeles California and Auckland New Zealand and the boroughs in New York City.

I could easily count who has the most photos in the main listings, but the tours are not indexed that way.

Besides, I still have a whole CD-ROM of photos from Scott Neff that I haven't put in yet, so he probably wins.

I only have about 20 theaters with photos from the Film-Tech collection on the site, so it didn't make the top ten. Realistically, I'd rather have a film-tech member email me high-res photos and/or permission to use the photos anyway. That way, I can credit the photographer and archive the photos properly.

Film-Tech will forever have a listing on my links page and on the upcoming *cough* forums. [Smile]

I know of several film-tech members who found their way here from Cinematour.
